Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within our SIEM environment to prevent breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to secure cloud infrastructure and on-premise networks.
- Perform forensic analysis and root cause analysis for security incidents.
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (NIST, ISO).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network defense.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
