Responsibilities
- Monitor and defend equity options trading platforms against sophisticated cyber threats during weekend market cycles
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Implement and maintain SIEM/SOAR solutions for real-time threat detection
- Collaborate with trading desks to develop secure transaction protocols
- Lead incident response for cybersecurity breaches affecting equity options
- Document security procedures and conduct compliance audits
- Mentor junior analysts on financial cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in financial services or options trading
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent financial security credentials
- Expertise in network security, encryption, and threat intelligence
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and SOAR tools
- Deep understanding of equity derivatives, market microstructure, and trading protocols
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills for correlating financial data with cyber events
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
