Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading platforms and financial systems
- Conduct incident response for cybersecurity threats during market hours
- Implement and maintain security controls for trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with trading desks to assess cyber risks for new options products
- Perform vulnerability assessments on financial applications
- Document security incidents and create mitigation reports
- Train junior analysts on cybersecurity best practices for financial systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent financial security credential
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection
- Understanding of equity options trading systems and market data protocols
- Experience with network security, encryption, and access control
- Ability to work independently during night shifts in high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical skills for correlating security events with market activities
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI-DSS, FINRA)
