Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM, EDR, and SOAR platforms
- Lead incident response for complex cyber attacks, including ransomware and APT campaigns
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks and access control policies
- Mentor junior analysts and create security automation scripts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present security posture reports to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- 7+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response or threat hunting
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native threat detection
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
