Responsibilities
- Design and implement security protocols for equity options trading platforms and OTC derivatives systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on trading applications
- Monitor SIEM alerts for anomalous trading activities and potential market manipulation attempts
- Develop incident response playbooks for trading system breaches and data compromises
- Collaborate with trading desks to implement zero-trust architecture for market data feeds
- Lead security awareness training for traders and quantitative analysts
- Ensure compliance with SEC FINRA cybersecurity regulations and NIST frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial services/equity options trading systems
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike) and network security (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Deep understanding of market data protocols (FIX, OUCH) and trading system architectures
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized trading environments
- Knowledge of financial regulations (SOX, GDPR, MiFID II) security requirements
- Ability to prioritize threats in high-pressure trading environments
