Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis to mitigate threats.
- Manage firewall rules and network segmentation policies to enforce security controls.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and risk remediation.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed forensic reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
