Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls to protect enterprise systems and data
- Lead incident response activities, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry regulations
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with hands-on incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIH) required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and endpoint security platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders
