Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and update incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows and Linux server administration.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF or CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Sentinel).
- Preferred: CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (if required).
