Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM technologies (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and code reviews to identify security gaps.
- Lead incident response investigations to contain, eradicate, and recover from cyber breaches.
- Design, implement, and maintain security frameworks and policies in compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security into the Software Development Life Cycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security training and awareness programs to ensure all employees adhere to security protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and security tools.
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
