Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK Stack).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular security audits and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
