In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our digital assets, implementing robust security measures and leading incident response efforts to protect against evolving threats.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Lead and participate in incident response drills and forensic investigations.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to ensure least privilege access.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCFA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common security architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and security tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
- Strong communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
