We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite Information Security team in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees to foster a secure organizational culture.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design secure software architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of malware analysis, threat hunting, and incident response methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable).
