Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Analyze malware and threat intelligence using tools like CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and data compromises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat reports
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis
- Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with security automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
