Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Continuously monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate the investigation and remediation of security breaches and cyber incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to strengthen our security posture.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and malicious actors within our network.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal security policies and external regulatory requirements such as SOC2 and GDPR.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and log analysis.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
