Role Overview:
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats. You will play a pivotal role in fortifying our network architecture and ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches and lead the incident response process.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST and ISO frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage firewall configurations, IDS/IPS rules, and VPN access controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network defense.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for security clearance.
