Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
- Manage and maintain SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools and correlate data to detect threats.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare and present security reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
