Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop security documentation including policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior security analysts and coordinate with DevOps teams for secure deployments
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security controls
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP (required)
- Expertise in NIST framework, CIS Controls, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong experience with Azure/AWS security services and network protocols
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation and threat hunting
- Ability to prioritize critical incidents and communicate risks to executive leadership
