Role Overview
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring threats, and responding to security incidents. You will work in a dynamic environment where your expertise directly safeguards our client's data.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk or Sentinel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and incidents in accordance with incident response protocols.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure coding practices and system architecture.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence feeds.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
