Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (preferred)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS cybersecurity regulations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
