Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks using NIST/CIS standards
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches (24/7 on-call rotation)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Develop automation scripts for threat detection using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Experience with zero-trust architecture implementation
- Strong background in threat hunting and malware analysis
- Ability to manage high-pressure security incidents
- BS/MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
