Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures including SIEM, EDR, and network intrusion detection systems
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and remediation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into cloud migration projects
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and proactively mitigate emerging risks
- mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations (SOC, incident response, or threat hunting)
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required; GIAC preferred
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security fundamentals
- Experience with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
