Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for complex security breaches
- Develop and implement threat detection strategies using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security controls
- Create comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
