Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat detection, analysis, and incident response for enterprise systems
- Implement and maintain security controls (SIEM, EDR, firewalls) across hybrid environments
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security postures
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint security platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
