Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for APT attacks and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on federal systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with NIST compliance teams for FedRAMP certification
- Mentor junior analysts on threat hunting methodologies
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports for DHS partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise security operations
- Active CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat modeling
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Clearance eligibility (Top Secret/SCI desired)
- Strong knowledge of ICS/SCADA systems security
