Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls across cloud/on-premises environments
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and incident response operations
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Lead vulnerability management programs and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior security analysts and document security procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection/response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
