Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Lead incident response activities including forensic analysis and containment procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and prioritize remediation
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
