In this pivotal role, you will manage the Security Operations Center (SOC), lead incident response efforts, and drive the implementation of advanced security protocols. If you are a problem solver with a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analysis of security breaches and anomalies.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewall rules and network security architectures.
- Lead and coordinate incident response plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing support.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to staff and maintain compliance with standards such as NIST, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and log analysis.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
