Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Monitor 24/7 security operations center alerts and triage critical incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on incident response experience
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, or Security+)
- Expertise in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
