Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-malware solutions.
- Enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Document security incidents and create detailed reports for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and Identity Management (IAM).
