Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response investigations for complex security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness training programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ in senior analyst roles
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert preferred
- Expertise in NIST frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat intelligence
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure security services and cloud security architecture
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
