Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security controls including SIEM, EDR, and firewalls
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting, containment, and forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional IT stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with automation tools
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence feeds
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to present complex concepts
