Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security monitoring protocols using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats, including ransomware and APT attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell to enhance threat detection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures for knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification (preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for security automation
- Strong understanding of zero-trust frameworks and identity management solutions
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
