Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level threat detection and incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) for real-time threat intelligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on zero-trust architecture implementation
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST/CIS)
- Mentor junior analysts through incident simulations and tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/NOC experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Proficient in threat hunting tools (Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike)
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with SIEM correlation rules and alert optimization
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
