Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations for 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection mechanisms using SIEM platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect zero-trust security frameworks
- Deliver executive-level security briefings and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in security protocols
- Stay current on emerging threats and adversary tactics through research
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network architecture
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong experience with threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident response scenarios
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
