  • Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery, following established playbooks and industry best practices.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure and applications.
  • Security Architecture & Compliance: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls, firewalls, and VPNs to meet regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, NIST).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or higher (CISSP, CEH, or GSEC preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related technical role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Splunk Enterprise Security, Microsoft Sentinel) and endpoint protection platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender).
  • Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
