Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or FireEye.
- Conduct 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, including triage and incident response.
- Perform threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses before exploitation.
- Develop and maintain detailed incident reports, logs, and security documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and enforce security policies.
- Stay current on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- CISSP, CEH, or GCIH certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or incident response.
- Strong working knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, firewall management, and network security.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
