Your impact: You'll lead incident response, monitor security operations, and implement advanced threat detection protocols for Fortune 500 clients. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations and a passion for continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in security operations or incident response roles
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
