Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation efforts
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Prepare executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations focus
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Sentinel)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- BS in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
