Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for complex cyber attacks including ransomware and APTs
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and Georgia-specific regulations
- Mentor junior analysts through technical workshops and code reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security automation tools
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security data
