As a key defender in our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll orchestrate incident response, conduct threat hunting, and architect resilient security frameworks. This role offers rapid career progression and direct impact on protecting critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead real-time incident response for high-profile clients using Splunk, SOAR, and EDR platforms
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and forensic analysis across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for ransomware, APTs, and zero-day exploits
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement NIST 800-53 compliant controls
- Deliver executive-level threat briefings and quarterly security posture reports
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to SOC process improvements
- Support compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) and risk assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/Incident Response roles
- Certifications: CISSP, GIAC GCIH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), EDR (CrowdStrike), and threat intelligence platforms
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services and network defense
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident scenarios
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
