The Role:
As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for designing robust security architectures, responding to critical incidents, and conducting vulnerability assessments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices into every layer of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring minimal business impact and rapid recovery.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure and applications.
- Manage and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls into DevOps pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required; GCIH or CISA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and forensics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
