Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security controls across cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response procedures including threat hunting, containment, and forensic analysis
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Mentor junior security professionals and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security events
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent written communication skills for security reporting and stakeholder presentations
