Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise networks
- Develop security documentation and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor emerging threats and adapt defense strategies proactively
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate complex security events
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- BS in Computer Science or related field required
