Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident triage
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and optimize security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust architecture principles
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Stay current on emerging threats (APT groups, ransomware, supply chain attacks)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Proven experience with NIST CSF and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 security operations environment
