Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Lead and coordinate incident response activities during security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular security audits and provide actionable recommendations to improve overall security posture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, SOC operations, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automating security tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites occasionally.
