Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify system weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust firewall rules, network segmentation, and endpoint protection strategies.
- Lead the incident response process during security breaches, coordinating with IT teams to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, and SOC 2 regulations.
- Develop and deliver advanced security awareness training programs to educate employees on the latest phishing and social engineering tactics.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field is required.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or CSSLP are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, protocols, and threat intelligence methodologies.
- Proficiency with security tools including FireEye, CrowdStrike, and Splunk.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
