Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for advanced persistent threats
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with network engineering teams on hardening initiatives
- Provide executive-level security briefings and risk assessments
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat hunting and malware analysis
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
