Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security monitoring solutions using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop comprehensive security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable)
