Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations and conduct forensic investigations for security breaches
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Develop comprehensive security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Maintain and optimize firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Coordinate cross-functional security awareness training programs
- Generate executive-level security risk assessments and mitigation reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and security automation tools
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple security incidents
