Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR technologies
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise infrastructure
- Develop security automation workflows using Python and PowerShell
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS cybersecurity regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in threat hunting frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE D3FEND)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500 regulations
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance (required for client projects)
